The RTX 5090 hit its lowest price we have ever logged, and it is still $4,199.99

The RTX 5090 moved for the first time in five days, and it moved down. $4,598.90 yesterday, $4,199.99 this morning. That is 8.7% in a single refresh and it is the cheapest we have ever recorded this card, beating the $4,269.95 we logged back on June 10. Genuinely good news, and I want to be clear about how little that means. NVIDIA launched this thing at $1,999. You are still paying 110% over launch price for the privilege, and a record low on a card this far from MSRP is less a deal than a slightly shallower hole.

Here is the strange part. The drop was big enough to break its own used listing. Our eBay refresh found the same MSI Ventus 3X OC 32GB at $3,680 that has been sitting there, unchanged. Yesterday that saved you 20% against new, comfortably past the 15% bar our deals page uses. Today the same $3,680 saves 12.4%, and the 5090 has quietly fallen off the used savings list entirely. Nothing about the used card changed. The new price just came down to meet it.

The RX 9060 XT went the other direction, $448.99 to $469.99, up 4.7%. That is its first movement of any kind since July 14, after eleven straight readings at exactly $448.99. It is still the best price per gigabyte on the board, but the cushion thinned from $28.06 to $29.37 per GB. The knock-on matters if you are shopping this tier: the RTX 5060 Ti held at $429.99, so the premium for doubling your VRAM from 8GB to 16GB went from $19 to $40 overnight. Still a bargain for the memory, just less of a no-brainer than it was on Tuesday. Line them up before you decide.

One listing came back from the dead. The RX 7900 XTX has been serving an unreadable buy box since July 24, and today it loaded properly at $1,399 with one unit left. Its used listing, an ASRock Phantom Gaming 24GB at $824.99, is a 41% saving against new and remains the largest gap between new and used anywhere in this catalog. If you want 24GB of VRAM and you can live with a card someone else broke in, that is the one to look at.

Everything else stood still. The RTX 5080 at $1,249.99, the RX 9070 XT at $739.99, the RTX 5070 Ti at $949.97, the Arc B580 at $369.99 and the Arc B570 at $259.99, all unchanged. Both MSRP sections on the deals page are still empty for the third day running, and the 5060 Ti is still the closest thing to a launch-price buy at 13.5% over. A record low on the halo card and a $21 bump on a midrange one is not a market turning. It is a market fidgeting.
