Amazon's RTX 5070 jumps to $799.99

Amazon’s tracked RTX 50-series shelf got much more expensive today. The RTX 5070 listing made the sharpest move, climbing from $635.99 to $799.99, a 25.8% increase. Amazon still says it can ship in one to two days, but at $250.99 above the card’s $549 launch MSRP, this particular listing is a tough buy.

The pain continues higher up the stack. The RTX 5080 rose from $1,299.99 to $1,547.99, a 19.1% jump, and Amazon showed only one left. The RTX 5070 Ti moved from $949.97 to $1,119.99, up 17.9%. Compare all three before paying the new premium.

AMD was steadier, but not untouched. The RX 9070 rose from $649.99 to $689.99, a 6.2% increase. The RX 9070 XT held at $739.99, leaving only a $50 gap between the two tracked listings. That makes the XT the much more interesting Amazon option today. Compare the RX 9070 pair to see whether your build can use the extra performance.

We also replaced the RTX 4060 listing after its old ASIN began serving an RTX 5060 instead. The newly verified Gigabyte RTX 4060 WINDFORCE OC listing is $499.88 and in stock. That higher new price widened its gap over the current used listing enough to move the RTX 4060 into the Best GPUs page’s used-deal slot.

One card did get a small break: the RTX 5060 Ti slipped from $429.99 to $427.25. The tracked RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell workstation card rose from $12,379.99 to $14,435, while the RTX 4070 Super increased from $859 to $899.99. Listings without a confirmed product-page price were left unchanged.
