Amazon pushes the RX 7900 XTX to $1,499

The RX 7900 XTX listing we track on Amazon just got even harder to recommend. It climbed from $1,399 to $1,499 today, a 7.1% jump, and Amazon says only one is left. That is now $500 above the card’s $999 launch price for a previous-generation GPU.

The used market makes the new price look especially rough. A verified used RX 7900 XTX listing is $824.99, which is 45% below Amazon’s new ask. That gap moves the card into the top used-deal slot on our Best GPUs page, ahead of the RX 7600.

The RX 7600 did move in the buyer’s favor, slipping from $339.99 to $329.99 on Amazon. Its $200 used listing still saves 39%, but the 7900 XTX now has the larger percentage gap and far more performance and memory. Compare the two if you are deciding whether the extra used-market spend buys enough headroom for your build.

Three other Amazon prices changed without crossing the 5% news threshold. The RTX 5080 rose from $1,249.99 to $1,299.99, the RX 9070 rose from $639.99 to $649.99, and the RTX 5060 fell from $359.99 to $349.99. Ten other listings we could confirm held steady. The RTX 5070, RTX 4060, and RX 7800 XT exposed no new-product buy box, so their stored Amazon prices were left untouched.
