The RTX 5060 Ti jumped 11% overnight and took our last MSRP deal with it

Yesterday the RTX 5060 Ti was the one card in this entire catalog you could buy for less than its launch price. Today it costs $399.99. That is a $40 jump in 24 hours, 11% on a card that NVIDIA launched at $379, and it flips the 5060 Ti from our only at-MSRP pick to a card sitting 5.5% above it. Our deals page now has an empty top section. Zero cards at or below MSRP.

It was not alone. The RTX 5060 moved too, $339.99 to $359.99, another 5.9%. Two 60-class cards, same PNY dual-fan family, both up on the same morning. When the cheap end of a generation moves together like that, it is usually supply talking, not a listing glitch.

So what does $400 buy you now? Here is the uncomfortable math: the RTX 5070 did not move at all today, holding at $635.99. Every single day since July 21, the gap between the 5060 Ti and the 5070 was $276. Now it is $236, for 12GB of GDDR7 instead of 8GB and a genuinely different performance class. If you were on the fence, the fence just got shorter. Line them up yourself before you spend the $400.

The other mover deserves a warning label. The RTX 4070 Super crept up to $859.00 today, up from $838.99, with only 10 left on the listing. That is 43% above its $599 launch price, for a last-generation card, while the newer 5070 sits $223 cheaper with the same 12GB of memory. That comparison is not close. Last-gen scarcity pricing is real, and it is not a deal.

Used is where the 60-class story gets interesting again. Our eBay refresh this run found a Dell RTX 5060 Ti 8GB at $339.99, a full $60 under today’s new price and still under yesterday’s, and a Gigabyte WINDFORCE RTX 5060 at $300. Both are Buy It Now listings, no auction timers to babysit. And the wildest number on the used board is still the RTX 5080: an ASUS ROG Astral at $595 against $1,249.99 new, a 52% haircut. Verify the seller carefully at that spread, but the listing checks out as a used Buy It Now for the exact model.

Worth noting for context: eight days ago a r/buildapcsales post flagged an MSI RTX 5060 8G at $256 through a Woot app discount. We did not confirm that price ourselves and promo deals like it expire fast, but it does tell you where this card’s floor was very recently. Today’s $359.99 is a different market.

Ten of the thirteen Amazon listings we could confirm today came back at exactly yesterday’s price, from the RTX 5050 at $299.99 through the RX 9070 XT at $739.99 and the Arc B580 at $369.99, whose listing was showing a plain “In Stock” when we checked. Every AMD and Intel listing we could confirm held its price. This one was NVIDIA’s day, and not in a good way.
